Ok here is the 3 ways to get Diablo 2 to be playable on OS X, with pros and cons of each method. With a few work arounds it does indeed work.
But a lot of people have complained on these Diablo 3 forums that Diablo 2 does not work on OS X 10.7. I know this is not a Diablo 3 topic per sé.
